Best red alarm ever! One of the cool PC gaming franchises, Command & Conquer: Red Alert has been a steady favorite since the mid-1990s, thanks to a unique combination of real-time strategy, Cold War aesthetics and camp humor. The latest release, Red Alert 3, continues this great tradition by improving the graphics and sound of the game.

As with previous Red Alert releases, this latest release reveals against the Soviet Allies and manages to compile a 7-minute premiere film Time Travel, Nuclear Weapons, and a hilarious show series. The movie also features the most important addition to Red Red Alert 3: The Eastern Sun Empire, a new predatory power that is inclined to world power.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 uses the new graphics and 3D effects introduced in last year’s Tiberium Wars title, which means that C&C fans are already fully aware of the game controls and layout. We thought we could find a slightly higher CPU and GPU load in this header over Command & Conquer 3, but this did nothing but minor crashes at maximum settings. The sound, video and actor are of excellent quality, so the game really feels like a well-rounded product.
At the end of the day though. what’s missing from Red Alert 3 is something new. The vehicles and units were, of course, a little shocking (including the strange addition of a war coat to the Council), and Japan was added to the rival roster. But Red Alert 3 isn’t really that different from Command & Conquer 3 or Red Alert 2 in this regard. The graphics and sound have improved a lot, but the gameplay is almost exactly the same.
The series was a fan of Command & Conquer: Red Alert for 3 graphical enhancements and comic moments. But anyone expecting new features in the game will be disappointed.
